Collard Pot Luck Dumplings Braised Collards


Trim out stems of bigger leaves.

Slice greens thinly.

Onions, roasted garlic, stock and roast turkey wings.


Saute onions, then place smoked wings, garlic and stock in the pot.
Simmer on low for 30 minutes.
Bring pot to a boil then pile in the greens and cover.
They will cook down.
I like mine cooked until really tender.

Proper pot iquor should be jelly when chilled.
